Our Parish and Community

Higher Hurdsfield is a small parish of approximately 400 households, situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the east of Macclesfield. The area offers a peaceful residential environment while remaining conveniently close to the amenities and transport links of the town.

Within the parish, residents enjoy access to a children’s playground at Higher Fold, providing a valued space for families and younger members of the community. The parish is also home to a local public house, serving as a welcoming meeting point for residents and visitors alike.
